5/18/13 Happy Saturday lovelies! How’s your weekend been? And isn't this model gorgeous?
 
1. I saw The Great Gatsby yesterday with my 4 of my good friends! I just read the book a few weeks ago. I think the movie was done really well. I liked all the characters except Gatsby. As in Leonardo di Caprio didn’t perform well. Is it me or do you also think he is not that good of an actor? I really don’t think he’s all that great. But the rest of the cast did well. I loved Nick Carraway’s role and character a lot. It was pretty long movie I think, but it was good. I enjoyed it! Have you guys watched it yet? What did you think?
 
2. Ok Starbucks caramel Frappuccinos are so addicting. I never was a fan of Starbucks until a month ago when I had a caramel frap. Can’t stop craving it now!!!! [If any of you enjoy this drink too, ask for extra caramel, it will be 100x better!]
 
3. I feel like I’ve had my icon on here for too long. Some of you may know I used to change it like every 3 weeks…..but this one I’ve had for quite a while. I don’t know I just adore this one!
 
4. So for Mother’s Day last week my grandmother got an iPhone [from my aunt]!!!! Lol it’s so cute helping her get used to it. She has a phone and camera all in one now. She is still learning to text! But I got my first text message from her few days ago lol!

1. C R A Z Y weekend. I had so many things going on and also so much studying + work [ which I still have lots more to do]. Last night there was this fundraising-gala-dinner event that my father was working with, so we all went. It was pretty fancy, but I thought my dress did well haha! I wore this long dress with a white blazer…..I wore 2 inch heels which were fab and didn’t make my feet hurt at all!
 
2. Speaking of heels and all, early this week I bought those sneaker-heel shoes? You know the ones that are like this? http://www.polyvore.com/ash_black_cool_suede_mesh/thing?id=66541500 Mine look exactly like that, but I got them on sale for 20$!!! Anyways, @hijabikebabi you should get a pair. But, Maleeha, prepare for your feet to hurrrrrt! First day I wore them they hurt so bad! But I’m fine now, got kinda used to it. But do get some, they’ll look fab! (:
 
3. And today! Can’t forget Mother’s Day! I want to wish all lovely mothers on Polyvore a very happy day, hope you have a wonderful time with your friends and family!
 
4. I spent the entire day with my lovely family! We had an afternoon tea with some sweets from our fave local bakery. And then we had Chinese food for dinner haha. The gift time was very nice, everyone was happy and loved everything. I had quite a nice day!
 
5. My little cousin is now officially 2 weeks old! He is so observant and a joy to be around!
 
6. I’m off to go study now, big exam on Wednesday! Wish me luck guys! xx

How have you all been? Nothing really new with me......just about a month and half until summer holiday! Big exam on May 15th, after that, all is well and will be relaxed! That, is hopefully! xx

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!
 
Had a crazy busy but fun weekend! Some of you may know my aunt is /was/ pregnant, and today she went into labor!!! About an hour ago she gave birth to a beautiful little boy! He is 8 pounds 8 ounces. Got a few balloons and in a few hours my family and I are heading over to the hospital for a visit…once they get settled down and all. Should be a lovely evening!
 
QOTD: How many cousins do you have? Well, I have a lot really, but only have 5 immediate first cousins who I am close to! :)

Hi lovelies….happy Sunday! Hope you have had a nice weekend so far!
 
Yesterday I was volunteering at my local library, and I got to do a different task, it was so fun and interesting. Usually I do a story-time with the youngsters but I got to take record of old newspapers from our city! I know, sounds boring, but I loved it so much! I was going thru old newspapers from the 60s and recording them down. But as I worked I read a lot of the articles and looked at them lots! I saw the grand opening articles of stores/restaurants and how a site has been decided to build something. I even saw the article where my current school’s name has been chosen! I saw our graduating classes and if we won games/tournaments. Oh and the adds too! You can’t imagine how inexpensive things were. I saw ladies’ blouses for 2.99 and women’s’ hats for 97 cents. Ice cream was 25 cents a gallon and lemonade was 19. Unbelievable, right? The photographs were also so great to see……I’ve been living in my current city for 8 years….so it’s not like I grew up here and know all about the city, so it was really fun to explore the past!!!!

Hope you've all been well! I feel like I have not published a set in forever but it was just a week haha. This week was my spring holiday, and now it's over...didn't do much, but I sure had fun sleeping and relaxing! Time to get back to everything up and running again! No big plans coming up to be excited about so that sucks....fun plans are literally my only kind of slight motivation for anything!!!

Hi lovelies missed you all! Hope you had a good week….I am on spring holiday now, any of you too? My computer is acting up again so my main priority is to get it fixed haha.
 
I literally just got home from a fashion show!!!!! It was my first one ever and I had such a good time. It was at a local hotel and the set up was perfect. Some of the looks from the runway were sooo amazing and I just wanted them so bad. There were boutiques from around the world….some dresses looked so good! Ahh I wanted them all. And there was also a performance by Yuna Zarai. She is a Malaysian singer, are any of you fans? She performed a few songs so beautifully. She is such a charming and delightful person. She is really talented too, if you have not heard of her music, you should go look it up!! She was walking around after the show and guess what? I GOT A PICTURE WITH HER. Even though I look horrible, still, IT’S A PICTURE WITH YUNA ZARAI! She is so lovely; it was an honor to meet her. And they played SUCH good music during the show, I loved all the songs. I was Shazam-ing all of them....I was so impressed with all the songs, there was not one I didn't like.
 
Well I am home now…all the fun is over!!! But hey, I have this week off. But tons of course work…will get to it tomorrow. Talk to you all soon, take care! xx

2. So I finished John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars. I don’t really have much to say, just that you need to read it if you have not already. It’s so perfect…it made me laugh and even tear up. And I never really cry….but this book, so perfect that it did. @bestdressx do read it, don’t wait any longer! I know you’ll love it!
 
3. Ok, I love my cats to pieces, but I sure do hate cleaning their litter boxes. If any of you have cats, you know what I mean haha!
 
4. Ok so I like really can not wait for this weekend, I’ve been waiting for this weekend to come for months. On Saturday it is my aunt’s baby shower I’ve been putting together…and ON SUNDAY IT IS MY FIRST FASHION SHOW! Ahhh I am so excited, have been waiting f o r e v e r. So just now I’ve been trying on bunch of outfits for the shower, I think I’m going with this grey dress. And for the fashion show this other dress that I only wear for special occasions haha! I hope this week goes by fast! <3

6. QOTD: What is your hair like? Color, style, length, etc. My hair is dark brown, pretty much black, and half way down my back. It’s really crazy and curly. I’m getting a haircut Friday and I can’t wait for that either….plan on cutting my hair about shoulder-length!!!!
